Goodwood Revival
Between the years of 1948 and 1966, Goodwood Motor Circuit purred and barked with the sound of the top Grand Prix cars of the day. The Goodwood Revival brings together history, style and a passion for motor sport in an event unique in the racing calender. For three days each September the track stages a meticulously detailed recreation of the race meetings of its heyday. Authentic Grand Prix, GT, sports and saloon cars from the 50s and 60s compete against each other, driven by enthusiasts and names from the highest level of the sport.
The circuit is kept quarantined from the 21st century, and only period vehicles provide essential services and competitor support. All staff and competitors dress in period clothing, and most visitors join in the spirit. Live music is all from the 50s, and even the chips are wrapped in reproduction newspaper. Unforgettable and unrivalled.
